Eric Overmyer

Born in 1951 in Colorado, Eric Ellis Overmyer is a playwright, screenwriter and producer. He graduated as a Theatre major from Reed College in 1973, and is the author of several critically acclaimed plays, such as “On the Verge”, “The Heliotrope Bouquet by Scott Joplin and Louis Chauvin”, and “In Perpetuity Throughout the Universe”.

He has also written and produced countless shows for television, including “St. Elsewhere”, “Homicide: Life on the Street”, “Law & Order”, “The Wire”, “New Amsterdam”, “Bosch”, “Treme” and “The Man in the High Castle”.
