About the play:
Predition Light is the new theatrical creation that Marionet, together with the Science Museum of the University of Coimbra and a group of scientific researchers, are preparing to present during this year’s edition of the European Researchers’ Night. The play, focusing the theme of ‘light’, has been written by the participant researchers and will be performed by them.

Synopsis:
Maria da Luz, an outstanding scientific researcher in the area of human vision is gradually losing, in a tragic irony of destiny, her sight. The play presents her attempts to deal with the problem, portrays an emotive amorous relation and a vindictive scientific betrayal, and sketches the fierceness of life in a scientific lab, inhabited by groups of researchers immersed in demanding and competitive professional paths. All this in a world controlled by the shadow of a mysterious character called Dr.Light.
